Yellow is the color of soft moonlight
Of stars that twinkle in the night
Of noonday sun with shining rays
To warm and brighten all our days.
Yellow is the color of children's joy

A twirling girl, a whirling boy
A golden store of memory
That shimmers where the eye can't see.
Yellow is the color of a fading page
A sweet reflection on life's stage
An ember glowing deep within
'Til life sets it ablaze again.
