Moms, Memories, and Not So Ordinary Days

Oh, how I love this video. And you will, too.
Grab the kleenex box, though...
This one pulled every heartstring I have.
And turn off my loverly red playlist to the right.

  2. I've seen that before. It is amazing, isn't it? I was so happy at the end when I found out there was no tragedy that motivated the production. Just regular life.

  3. It is a good one... thanks for sharing. Sometimes the days seem to repeat over and over... make breakfast, pack lunches, clean kids, clean house, pick up drop off clean, laundry, homework, practices... bedtime routines and all over again... this reminds me that the ordinary day can be good not just a repeat.

  4. Oh yes. I watched this a few days ago and it really puts things into perspective. Makes me realize I took many of the wrong pictures when my sons were growing up. I wish I had less of Christmas and birthdays, and more of everyday life because that is what I miss the most!

  5. Interesting that you would post this today. The last few days I have had a picture in my mind of my 33 year old son when he was two. I guess I have been missing those ordinary days. I am always amazed when your posts are about what I have been thinking about on that particular day. I think we live in a parallel universe, only you write about it.

  6. Oh how I loved this too! It is all so true. My life isn't quite at the end of this chapter yet, but this has reinforced the fact that I need to enjoy all the busy days my 3 teenagers bring. Thank you for sharing!

  7. OK - I'm practically sobbing. It really hits home as my youngest is getting married in a few months... I know I'll cry, even though it's a happy time. *sigh*

  8. Inspiration. Again. I know how fast it passes, and how easy it is to get lost in the pile of laundry or the dishes in the sink, but this really helped me want to slow things down. I am most definitely going to pause more and enjoy more. Thank you.

  9. I couldn't get it to play for me. But it must be good, judging by the other comments. I'll go look it up . . .
