It do...I cried throughout the reading of this, Sue. It does take a lof of bravery to become a firefighter, and to think that three of my grandchildren are now firefighters. I worry about them (who would I be if I didn't worry, right?) occaisionally. Especially when we have so many forest fires around here. But they are doing what they want to do and so were the New York City firemen. I am hoping that Dick will take me to Cathedral City tonight when it is dark to view a special memorial one couple has put up on their roof. They have built 17 foot replicas of the twin towers out of aluminum and they are all lighted. It should be memorable. They are also showing videos that he has taken of the progression of the sight from when it was first destroyed until now. He goes back there every year, so it should be very interesting. I'm glad you did this. We all need to stop and really remember!

Love, MomDarlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16797132860053426517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6072583027504108914.post-24889757062451700652009-09-11T13:10:16.944-07:002009-09-11T13:10:16.944-07:00My dad was a firefighter (though not in NYC).
