I have done this too and unfortunately have a temper to go with it, so have had to eat humble pie a few times.

Glad you brought it to my attention with this post. Every year, in the justice system, there are people who are found innocent by reason of new scientific evidence. For this reason, especially, I think that we humans need to distance ourselves from the death penalty.Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6072583027504108914.post-41805343914457335842012-01-25T16:39:38.647-08:002012-01-25T16:39:38.647-08:00Sue...this spoke to my heart. And while that may be a good instinct to use from time to time, it's certainly not always the best route. Especially when making judgements about something like a person's motivations behind their actions, etc.

Your wisdom is a gift to us, Sue!Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04953764061091454844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6072583027504108914.post-28190920944693271012012-01-25T12:05:51.330-08:002012-01-25T12:05:51.330-08:00great post Sue ... I have always been the one to have made the mistake. So I'm learning (slowly) to be slow to anger. Ask questions. Give the benefit of the doubt. Most of all, be charitable and patient - all of the niceties I'd like shown to me when I am (inevitably) wrong.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16313237142656662148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6072583027504108914.post-30198752535106182182012-01-25T10:42:39.847-08:002012-01-25T10:42:39.847-08:00...love the title...love the titlelarainydayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729238864057667317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6072583027504108914.post-72335419074798608422012-01-25T10:41:54.046-08:002012-01-25T10:41:54.046-08:00I haven't trusted my eyes since third grade wh...I haven't trusted my eyes since third grade when I got glasses and discovered trees had leaves.
