Fly Me to the Moon

©2013 Susan Noyes Anderson

When I said, Fly me to the moon,
I did not mean by car.
If hot air's all you have to offer,
we won't get too far.

Balloons in every color never
won this woman's heart.
The man who keeps my engine running
has his own kickstart.

Oh sure, the props are pretty, and
the sky is bright and blue.
But if your kiss can't take me there,
I'm not the girl for you!

Hmmm..I'm afraid of flying...what does that say about me? Maybe I just need a cute flying machine? Ha! Love the poem with the pic!

Too funny Sue! :)
Reminds me of that time 25years ago on our way to Arizona with all the kids, our youngest, Tyler, kept saying he wanted to go to the moon....over and over again for miles!

Yes, Sue! Put in the works. No one's going to run all over you if one makes a strong stand! Nicely!

This is great, had a big smile on my face thinking about all those dates before I met my husband. He takes me to the moon. Kim
